Coach House Studio
Working from her studio in Staffordshire, Lucy creates small-batch collections of handmade ceramics using traditional techniques and natural finishes. Her approach is unhurried and intentional, guided by the rhythm of the material and an appreciation for the beauty of imperfection.

She works with both wheel-throwing, hand building and slip casting, exploring different firing techniques, including Raku for its dramatic, unpredictable surfaces and developing her own glaze palette inspired by the muted tones of the Staffordshire landscape. Every piece is individually formed and finished, allowing the subtle variations that come from handmaking to become part of the work's character.

The studio is also a space for research and teaching. Lucy's long-term vision includes establishing Coach House Studio as a place for learning, collaboration, and creative retreat, where others can explore their own relationship with craft and design.
