I create calm, functional spaces that are easy to live in and simple to care for.
Natural materials. Thoughtful textures. Clean lines. My work in clay and my years shaping interiors inform one another—the small details matter. The curve of a handle, the way lime paint softens afternoon light, the warmth of oak under your hand. From first conversation to final placement, I design settings that add character and invite comfort.
Made in the Studio
Alongside residential interiors, I make small-batch objects and lighting in my ceramics practice. Wheel-thrown and slip-cast forms, raku-fired surfaces, and a glaze palette drawn from the Staffordshire landscape. This connection between making and space shapes how I approach every project. When a handmade piece can add something meaningful to your home, we design it in.
Design Provenance
In 2012, I founded Create Interior Design. For more than a decade, I led projects across the UK—with roots in London, the Home Counties, Staffordshire, Birmingham, and Cambridge. Much of that work came through personal recommendations and repeat commissions.
It taught me to plan with care, communicate clearly, and finish with attention to detail.
Today, I design under my own name, focusing more on residential interiors. The care remains the same. The aim is simple: a space that is well-used and well-loved.
